How does Lumen verify its sources of truth?
Lumen's proof-of-good engine, Lumenosity leverages a variety of data sources - physical, imaging and financial. This includes RFIDs for batch tracing, near-infrared spectroscopy for material composition detection, user inputs, invoices, purchase orders, public environmental sources, AI-based imputations for missing data, and anomaly detection to identify reporting issues.
What are Carbon Insets and how are they different from Carbon Offsets?
Traditional carbon credits allow sequestered carbon in one industry to offset emissions in another. Several issues of double counting, permanence and additionality exist that have given a powerful financial asset for climate change a bad rep.
